NPC staff in focus: Jessica Marcrum
Jessica Marcrum, NPC’s Parish Administrator, grew up in downtown Chicago, attending the Latin School for the bulk of her young education. An active member of the Chicago Childrens Choir, she decided to continue her musical studies by attending the Oberlin Conservatory at Oberlin College. After receiving her Bachelors of Music with a concentration in vocal performance, she attended the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. After several years in Bloomington, she moved briefly to Winston-Salem, NC before the lure of Chicago drew her back to her hometown.
Having chosen administration and teaching as a more rewarding career path, Jessica has gifted Northminster with her considerable office skills, computer savvy, and cheery personality. She has expressed her desire to assist the clergy, staff, and congregation in any way that she can, and extends the invitation to feel free to stop by the office during open hours to say hello!
