Tribute Concert in Memory of Debra Schuerer DeNoon

May 27th, 2012 3:00p

debThis concert is free to the public and will include Debra’s friends and loved ones from many of the wonderful ensembles in which she performed. You will not want to miss this concert of choruses from Debra’s favorite operas and oratorio. Over seventy members of the Lyric Opera, Grant Park Music Festival, Chicago Symphony Chorus and the Northminster Presbyterian choirs will come together for this one time event.

The concert will include familiar works by Bernstein, Brahms, and Verdi, as well as the world premiere of "Peace, My Heart" which was commissioned from the celebrated American composer Gwyneth Walker by Deb's friends in the Northminster Chancel Choir.

Come and share in the tremendous musical life and wonderful voice in the lives of all who knew her. The concert will be followed by a reception in Northminster Presbyterian Church’s Logan Hall.
