Welcome, Friends in Christ!

Church picture Our Sunday morning worship service is at 9:30.

Northminster Presbyterian Church is a multi-generational, family-oriented, vibrant church community in northwest Evanston, Illinois. We are an inclusive community of faith, and we welcome all persons in to our Christian worship and ministry.

YVETTE EBER TO LEAVE NPC

After nearly eight years of faithful and valued service as NPC's Christian Educator, Yvette Eber will be leaving our congregation to become Pastor of the Immanuel United Church of Christ in Evergreen Park, Illinois. Whereas the immediate effect of Yvette's departure is impossible to define and even more difficult to assess in the short run, and whereas her faith and creativity will surely be missed, we are all extremely proud of Yvette's reaching this vocational goal for which she has long prepared and anticipated.

Yvette EberThe years of her service to our many-faceted education program, as well as the leadership and assistance she has provided in countless other areas of our church's life, have contributed immeasurably to the health and vitality of NPC during the better part of this last decade.

To say we will miss Yvette is an understatement of large proportion. To further say that we wish her well and will pray for God's blessing on her new ministry also does not need to be said. But say it we do, and we can be assured that Yvette's experiences here have helped to prepare her for her ministry as an ordained minister. The Immanuel United Church of Christ is fortunate to gain what we will lose in this exceptional church leader.

Yvette's last week with us will be the week of February 7. More information on her departure and NPC's formal farewell to her, Samantha, and Abigail, will be forthcoming. Well done, good and faithful servant!
